Obituary of Mrs. Faith Marie Sanchez
Faith, the very nature of her name, means to have such a fervent belief in God’s ability that it causes things to become. Her parents must have known that the name, Faith, would establish her character in this life.
Faith was born to Louise and Tony Lopez June 21, 1979. She was established in both physical beauty and Love. Faith had a huge heart for all her family and friends. Growing up, she was a protector of her siblings. She was a jokester and enjoyed bringing joy to others through joking. She had a passion for writing poetry and for writing her own songs as she often sang with her son Emilio. She enjoyed a good karaoke night with family and friends. She also loved art, which was displayed in her tattoos and her love for all things Betty Boop.
Faith experienced a severe automobile accident in her mid-teens when she was thrown from the car. When they found her, they didn’t think she would live. But Faith defied all medical understanding. After she lived, the doctors said she would be paralyzed for the rest of her life. Again, she defied all medical understanding because God was faithful to Faith. From the auto accident, she experienced a lot of physical pain, and though she may have gone through many trials, God was right there with her. Faith was a very special lady to her husband, children, family, and friends. But most of all she was and is very special to God.
During the final days and weeks of Faith’s life, she desired to be in Church. On her last day in this life, she was surrounded by her family as they said their goodbyes, and she passed from this life into eternity.
Faith was preceded in death by: her mother, Louise Vigil, her father Tony Lopez, and John (Papa John), Maternal Grandparents, Paternal Grand-parents and brother Johnny Rey Maestas.
Faith leaves behind her husband, Emilio Sanchez, their children, Emilio Elijah James, Gabrielle Jasmine Joy, Elianna Grace, and their granddaughter, Athena; her siblings Arthur Matthew Padilla; James Christopher (Emily) Romero; Jacob Andrew Lopez and Julie Lopez; Johnny Angel (Rhonda) Maestas; Melissa Bernadette Maestas; Yvonne Maestas and (Joe Aragon); Paul (Debbie) Maestas; Lily (Eric) Hipkins; Monica (Patrick) Parker; Joel (Erin) Valenzuela; Nick (Breanne) Valenzuela; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
