Armando L. Rodebaugh (58) of Durango, Colorado, passed away on January 13th, 2024 in Denver, Colorado. Armando, known to some as Mondo, was an animated, kind-hearted soul born to Dale Rodebaugh and Irma (Huriton Vazquez) Rodebaugh on August 21st, 1965, in Mexico City, Mexico. He moved to Los Gatos, California, in his early life with his parents and two siblings, Andrea and Aaron Rodebaugh, and grew up making friends in his community. In 2000, he welcomed his only child, Fiona, and moved to Buena Vista, Colorado briefly, and eventually Durango, Colorado, where he went on to build his life and career. Armando created his own moving business, and worked as a contracted worker to construct or repair businesses or buildings around Durango. Armando loved the outdoors and often spent weekends or summers on the lake, fishing with friends and family. He enjoyed gardening and spending the winter months with his siblings and family going to coffee and catching up. In late 2018, Armando moved to Denver and continued his life-long career in construction, fixing up houses and complexes. He made several friends along the way and made an impact on so many. He briefly worked at 7-11 where he met, befriended, and helped the many people he encountered, making lifelong friendships.
Armando never ceased to live in the moment or enjoy time with family and friends. He is survived by his father Dale, his daughter, Fiona, his son-in-law Tylor, his siblings Andrea and Aaron, his sister-in-law Tanya, and his niece and nephew Anahi and Diego. While Armando left us too soon, his presence and memories will last a lifetime. He was preceded in death by his mother Irma. Armando is and will be missed deeply by those who knew him.
