Deann Montoya

DeAnn was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Was one of ten children born to Anna Maria and Jose Montoya. She was the mother to Steven, Crystal (Ray), Brian (Jamie), and Richard (Loretta). Grandmother to Elizabeth, Stephanie, Nathan, Austin, Richie,  Gabriella, Tatiana, Tristan, Frankie, and Juliana. Great grandmother to Aspen Rae, Lila Rose, and Isabella.

DeAnn (Dee to many) grew up in a small town with aspirations of moving to the big city of Denver of which were fulfilled. She earned a bachelor’s degree in human services while raising her children as a single mother. Her unwavering strength, determination, perseverance, and passion for life was passed on to her children.

She had a smile that could light up any room and a confidence that could not be wavered. If she had any vulnerability, you didn’t know it; she was a warrior to the end. She will be deeply missed, loved and always remembered as the pure and loving soul she was.
