It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Geronimo Marquez, who left us on May 28, 2024, at the age of 59. Geronimo, a native of Denver, Colorado, born on July 28, 1964, to parents Carmen and Joseph Marquez, was not just a part of our family but a pillar of our community. 

Surrounded by his family, he fought a valiant battle with stage four colon cancer for several years. His vibrant spirit, boundless energy, and kind heart touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts and in our community.

Family was the cornerstone of Geronimo’s life, and his love and support knew no bounds. He was a devoted son to his parents, always offering his unwavering support and love. Geronimo is survived by his loving mother, Carmen Marquez; his siblings, Kathy Elizalde, Belinda Trujillo, Tommy Marquez, Ronald Marquez, Arnold Marquez, Terri Marquez, and Richard Marquez. Together, they formed a strong, unbreakable bond that will forever cherish his memory. 

A memorial service will be held on June 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Latina Funerals & Cremations in Denver, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help fund the funeral and cremation expenses. 

Though he is no longer with us, Geronimo Marquez's spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. His memory will remain a beacon of love and light, reminding us to live fully, love deeply, and always pursue our passions. Rest in peace, dear brother. You will be missed more than words can express.
