Martin Robert Lucero

“Martin R. Lucero Sr., age 71, entered into rest to be with the Lord on January 12, 2024. He is survived by his wife Gloria, his sons Martin Jr, Christopher Sr., Marty Sr., grandchildren Marissa, Marty Jr, Jaden, and Bella. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Felix, sister Paula, and grandson Christopher Jr. Martin was born in Oakland, California and raised in Denver, Colorado. Martin enjoyed listening to oldies with the speaker on full blast, drinking a cold Coca-Cola, and watching classic movies. Martin, better known as “Pompo” to his grandchildren, was loving, funny, and 1 in a million. He always had a joke to crack and even if they weren’t funny, they’d still bring a smile to your face. 

Viewing services will be held at Latina Funerals & Cremations (3020 Federal Blvd, Denver, Co 80211) from 12:00-3:00 pm. A Mass will follow from 3:00-4:00 pm.

A reception will take place from 5:00-9:00 pm at Lakeview Event Center (7864 W. Jewell Ave. Lakewood, Co 80232).”
