Pascual Robles Garcia, resident of Denver, Colorado for over 70 years, died peacefully at 83 on Saturday March 19, 2016. He is survived by his wife Bertha Robles; his ex-wife Felicitas Ortiz, his children from his ex-wife including Jonathan, Jacob, Daniel, and Evelyn, stepchildren from his current wife including Phillip and Gilbert, his grandchildren including Cristina, Jacklyn, Gabriela, Felicia, Elijah, Elias, Marissa, Marco, Bianca, and Benjamin; and his siblings including Pete, Ruben, Angie, Sarah, Esther and Mary. He was preceded in death by his parents Gabriel and Antonia Robles and 10 other siblings and his stepdaughter MaryLee. His family and friends will deeply miss his generous heart, his love for all people, humor, kindness, his prayers, and his love for the Lord.
Pascual was born in Colonia Dublan in Chihuahua, Mexico. At 13 years old, he moved to Denver to find work to help support his family. He retired as a machinist for the Rio Grande now Union Pacific railroad after 25 years. After experiencing a miraculous touch from God during a difficult and wrenching time in his life, he became a born-again Christian at age 33 and from then on began to minister to everyone about the Lord. He was then a pastor for over 50 years, and his ministry focused especially on the homeless of Denver, CO. He had a wonderful heart and was a prayer warrior. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. We know he is now rejoicing in heaven with God.
His services will be on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at Funeraria Latina, 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver, CO 80211 and immediately following, his earthly vessel will be buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W. 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Visitation/viewing will be held at Funeraria Latina from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016
